Military Orders Modification Policy

We help travelers and hosts address reservation changes caused by documented amendments to official military orders.

Effective September 12, 2026 • Version 1.0

When Official Orders Change

If report dates, duty location, course dates, or authorized travel are changed or canceled by official direction, contact the property host promptly and submit supporting documentation to TDY Direct. Early notice gives the host the best opportunity to adjust the reservation.

How to Request a Modification

  1. Notify the host through the direct contact information in your reservation.
  2. Provide amended orders, an official memorandum, or other documentation showing the affected dates.
  3. Identify the reservation and the new requested check-in or check-out dates.
  4. Allow time for the documentation and requested adjustment to be reviewed.

How Adjustments Are Handled

Reservation changes, credits, cancellations, or refunds are handled in accordance with the reservation terms, the documentation provided, and direct communication with the host. This policy does not promise an unconditional or automatic cash refund.

Traveler Responsibility

Travelers remain responsible for confirming what their authorization permits and for submitting required documentation. A change to official orders does not automatically modify a reservation until the adjustment is reviewed and confirmed.
